Conversation #4 | Loving Cat Hug

    1 left

Here's a meaningful, stylized sculpture that I created to capture the bond we cherish with our cats, especially as a memorial for the loss of a beloved kitty. A person and cat share a hug and a silent, happy exchange, nose to nose.

Bought as a memorial gift to a sister who’s cat passed away

I bought this as a memorial for my sister whose Persian cat, Gandalf passed away last month. Given the price, i had expected something larger than what she received. The gift wrapping was not what was advertised on the website which was also disappointing. Instead of the gold flake shown, the wrapping was just plain silver paper. The artwork of the sculpture is nice; but, I just do not feel that my sister got something that was truly worth the asking price. I would more than likely tell others to look; but, I doubt that I would purchase anything more from Small Company Artworks.

Glenn, thank you so much for taking the time to leave a comment on your purchase. I'm honored that you chose my work to commemorate your sister's late kitty, and it's wonderful that you like the artwork, itself. I hope the 4" size noted in the listing doesn't diminish the sentiment, as it was hand-sculpted, cast, and finished with great love for just such an occasion. I'm sorry you preferred my older wrapping and didn't receive what you hoped, and I've refunded your gift wrap costs. Since it was May, I was in the process of updating from snowflakes to more seasonally-appropriate paper and upgrading to satin ribbon for a more polished touch. Your order came in just as I was making those changes, and I rushed it to meet your "Priority shipping" request. I apologize for not reaching out to let you know about the gift wrap before shipping. Thank you again. Please reach out to me at anytime with questions!
