Tiny Hugging Figures | Here for You - Tiny sculpture gift

Tiny Hugging Figures | "Here for You"

Regular price $35.00 Sale

Here's a miniature sculpture of hugging figures that I created to hold love and comfort for friends or family who are grieving, sick, or experiencing difficulties, and to be a long-distance hug. A figure huddles with knees drawn up and arms wrapped around its knees, and a friend embraces them in comfort and support.

  • Title: "Here for You" Open Edition
  • Entirely handmade by the artist (that's me!) in Los Angeles, California
  • Delivered to you in a black, organza gift bag with title card
  • Size: 1.5 inches (3.8cm)

Hand cast from my sculpted original, with a dense, cool surface that's equally satisfying to hold or admire from across the room. These tiny sculptures can be displayed on desks, bookshelves, nightstands, or anywhere a touch of art would bring a smile. They're also wonderful travel companions!

Can't put into words

Can't put into words how much I love this, how special it is and what it means to me. The detail on such a tiny piece is just amazing, and the care that went into creating the original shines through. Thank you for sharing your heart. . . . .

All I have to say is

All I have to say is that the photos, as eloquent as they are, don't do justice to this sculpture. Holding it in the hand, it soon warms up. Turning it this way and that, the light plays over its lines almost musically, evocative of the very sacred human dynamic of grieving and being comforted. What better way to illustrate how powerfully bonding this experience can be ~ what a gift Melissa has! It accompanied a sympathy card to someone very close to us who just lost his mother; the truth is, no card was needed. The figurine says everything: I see your pain and I am here to hold you if you need it. Stunning!
